The masking tape probably keeps the glue from running too.... hmmmm. Thanks again for your help!
NicoleAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2271822508357882571.post-62274660760973172013-01-23T10:08:07.660-05:002013-01-23T10:08:07.660-05:00I use adjustable clamps and spring clamps that you...I use adjustable clamps and spring clamps that you can buy at home improvement stores, and I also use masking tape because it peels off without ruining the surface. I'm a member of the Greenleaf Dollhouse forum http://www.greenleafdollhouses.com/forum/index.php?act=idx , it's a wonderful resource for any dollhouse you're building (even if it's not Greenleaf brand). Every time I use my phone or tablet to write something, I make a ridiculous typo so you don't have to explain :) mariahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07080858042454961454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2271822508357882571.post-36171801157724997802013-01-23T09:57:18.366-05:002013-01-23T09:57:18.366-05:00Thank you so much! I was worried about the hot glue from the beginning, because I'm a crafter and I know how it is in temp changes, but the instructions called for it, I've never built a dollhouse b4, so this is a new adventure, and I really want it to last! How do u hold the pieces together till the glue dries? And my previous comment was supposed to say, Any help would be appreciated, sorta sounded like I was demanding, lol. Gotta love typing from your phone. :)
Thx again,
NicoleAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2271822508357882571.post-72994980216111873242013-01-23T09:34:27.552-05:002013-01-23T09:34:27.552-05:00Hi Nicole,

I use tacky glue for little projects, but recommend wood glue for most of the building. Hope that helps a little, and I wouldn't worry about the already glued bits.mariahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07080858042454961454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2271822508357882571.post-26321701205920114902013-01-23T09:27:54.556-05:002013-01-23T09:27:54.556-05:00Hi maria,

The instructions call for a hot glue gun, which I went out and bought an Aleene brand, and was looking on here to see if I can use any name brand hot glue sticks or if they are equal, but now you have me scared and maybe we should use a different type of glue? They have the staircases complete, and foundation complete, so we could change glue at this point.... what do u recommend? And help would be much appreciated... Thank you!
NicoleAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2271822508357882571.post-34050741390761684902013-01-16T09:26:19.388-05:002013-01-16T09:26:19.388-05:00Hello Maria,
